Actors Oh Yeon-seo and Choi Jin-hyuk have been cast as the leads in the upcoming 2026 Channel A romantic comedy drama Positively Yours.
The series is based on the popular Naver webtoon and web novel of the same name by writer Lee Jung. It tells the story of Jang Hee-won (Oh Yeon-seo), a career-focused woman who once dreamed of becoming a teacher but ends up working for a large corporation. Her life takes an unexpected turn after a one-night stand with Kang Doo-joon (Choi Jin-hyuk), a second-generation chaebol executive who has sworn off marriage for the sake of his family and late brother’s legacy.
When their brief encounter results in an unplanned pregnancy, the two are thrown into a whirlwind of awkward, unexpected and heartfelt moments—creating a “baby first, love later” romance that promises to bring a fresh twist to the K-drama rom-com genre.
Meet the Leads
Oh Yeon-seo debuted in 2002 as part of the group LUV and has since taken on leading roles in TV dramas such as A Korean Odyssey, Mad for Each Other and Player 2.
Choi Jin-hyuk, who debuted in 2006 through KBS’s Just Run!, is known for his roles in Pasta, The Last Empress and Mr. Queen, where he showcased his deep and grounded acting style.
As Positively Yours prepares for its 2026 broadcast, fans are eager to see whether this unconventional love story will bring a new spark to the Korean drama scene.
